about

This album was written by Mark Estevens (AKA adventurer) for the band he formed in 2004 along with Darren 'Ted' Griffirths (drums), Des Roberts (guitar), Elinor Williams (keys/sax) and Aled Warwick (bass). The band recorded this album in 2005-6 and was sold at local gigs. It was Produced by Mark Estevens and James Voros. Sam Linthorne and James Voros (both Trombonists) featured at Live gigs respectively during the early part of the bands career and James features on the album on Trombone and backing vocals. The album features a reworking of a track from the first adventurer album, 'Rooster. The album was never released under any label but was very popular amongst those that heard it. The band featured in 2007 on the' ITV unsigned' program where they performed two songs from the album - 'Cute bug Beetle' and 'Do Do stars'. Songs from the album also had delightful reviews from Adam Walton (BBC radio Wales) and more recently James Kennedy of Swansea based station 'Oystermouth radio'. In the later part of the bands career, live shows of the band included a real life scarecrow (J Northcott) that came alive dancing half way through the set. Sadly the band went their separate ways in the spring of 2008.
